今年の楽しみは、あとはイチローの200安打だけになりつつあり、すでに興味は来シーズンに移っている。
Knee surgery to end Clement's season

The regular season has come to a screeching halt for catcher Jeff Clement, who will have surgery on his left knee on Tuesday, the Mariners announced on Saturday night.
Mariners medical director Dr. Edward Khalfayan will perform the arthroscopic procedure to repair lateral meniscus and medial meniscus tears. Normal rehabilitation from this type of surgery is three to four weeks, which is all that remains in the regular season.
Clement, the Mariners' first-round Draft selection in 2005, batted .325 in August, scored seven runs and drove in 12 runs. Overall, he batted .227 with 10 doubles, five home runs and 23 RBIs in 66 Major League games.
